  • Stefan Descheemaeker

    Stefan Descheemaeker


    Stefan was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Nomad Foods on 1 June 2015. He was previously at Delhaize Group SA, the international food retailer, where he was Chief Financial Officer between 2008 and 2011 before becoming Chief Executive Officer of its European division until October 2013. Prior to that Stefan was at Interbrew (now Anheuser-Busch Inbev) where he was Head of Strategy & External Growth responsible for managing M&A and strategy, during the time of the merger of Interbrewand AmBev. Stefan currently serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Anheuser-Busch InBev, a position he has held since 2008.

    Chief Operating Officer

    Tania joined the company in April 2007 and successfully led the separation from Unilever and the creation of a standalone integrated SAP platform. Tania previously worked for some of the most prestigious branded goods companies including Coca-Cola, where she was CIO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, PepsiCo where she was CIO for the Walkers Snackfood business, Sun Microsystems ICI and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

    Chief Financial Officer

    Paul joined us in June 2012 from AstraZeneca PLC where his most recent role was CFO for AstraZeneca’s Global Commercial business. Prior to that, Paul was Senior Vice President, Group Finance for three years and for a period held the role of Chairman of AstraTech, AstraZeneca’s medical technology subsidiary. Paul's career includes senior finance roles at Allied Domecq PLC encompassing sales, marketing and operations and experience at Courtaulds PLC and Mars.

  • Albert Mathieu

    Albert Mathieu

    Chief Commercial Officer

    Albert joined the company as Chief Commercial Officer in October 2016, bringing a wealth of experience in consumer goods. He came from Mondelez where he spent the last three years as President of Biscuits Europe.  Before joining Mondelez in 2013, Albert built his career at Mars where he had a variety of roles in Petcare, Food and Chocolate in Europe and South America during the 19 years he was at the company. This included Marketing Director Chocolate France and South Europe, Marketing Director for the South America Region, General Manager of Argentina and Chile and Regional President of Mars Food Europe.

  • Francesco Fattori

    Francesco Fattori

    Managing Director, Southern Europe Region

    Francesco joined the company in April 2014 as General Manager for the German market, before being appointed Managing Director Findus Italy in October 2015. He came from Reckitt Benckiser where he worked for 16 years with different senior leadership roles in developed and developing markets as well as in the Global Category Organization. This included Global Marketing Manager Europe, Marketing Director Germany, General Manager Greece and General Manager South Africa. His last assignment before joining us was Senior Vice President Regional Director Africa.

    Managing Director, Birds Eye

    Wayne joined us as Managing Director of Birds Eye Limited in January 2016. Wayne has had a long and illustrious career in the FMCG world. He has 30 years of experience including 14 years at Kerry Foods, as well as stints at Spillers Petfoods and United Biscuits. Wayne’s most recent role was Managing Director of Young’s Seafood Limited Frozen Division.

  • Henrik Hjalmarsson

    Henrik Hjalmarsson

    Managing Director, Nordics

    Henrik has been with the business since 2006. Prior to taking up the role of Managing Director, Nordics in September 2016, he spent two years as CEO of our business in Sweden and Denmark. Henrik’s previous roles with Findus included Commercial and Sales Director for Sweden and Denmark, Nordic Supply Chain Director, Logistics Manager in Norway as well as Supply Chain Transformation Director for the wider Findus Group. Prior to joining Findus, and from 2007 to 2008, Henrik was at Nynas Petroleum, a Swedish global specialty oils producer, most recently as Head of Supply Chain Americas, based in Houston, Texas.

    Managing Director, Western Europe

    Steven was appointed Managing Director of our Western Europe region in September 2016. Prior to that, he was CEO of Findus Southern Europe, managing our businesses in France and Spain since May 2015.  Since joining the Findus Group in 2000, his roles included Marketing Director and Sales Director Findus France and Managing Director Findus Spain. Outside of the Findus Group, Steven enjoyed stints as Managing Director at Senoble and Senior Equity Fund Advisor. His early management career included international marketing positions at Nestlé and BIC.

  • Brian Murray

    Brian Murray

    Group HR Director

    Brian’s time with the company spans its ownership periods under Unilever, the private equity fund Permira and now Nomad Foods. He joined Unilever in 2002 and worked in the Ice Cream and Frozen Food business before moving to Unilever UK. In his time with Iglo, Brian was HR Director for the UK and Ireland business and HR Director for the Iglo Markets. He is currently Group HR Director for Nomad Foods Europe. An MBA Graduate, Brian has extensive international FMCG experience having held roles in Sales, Marketing, Supply Operations and General Management at Coca-Cola Enterprises before focusing his career in HR and Organisation Development.
