This policy also outlines your rights regarding data protection, and tells you how to contact us. This policy applies only to this website. For example, it does not apply to banners, advertisements or promotions we may sponsor or participate in on websites owned by third parties.

By accessing or browsing this website or providing your personal data, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to this policy in its entirety. If you do not agree to this policy in its entirety, you must not use this website or provide your personal data.

  2. Personal data and its uses

    (a) What we collect and why

When referring to "personal data", we mean information we collect from you, from which you may be personally identified. Typically, this may include your name, address, telephone number (including mobile number), credit card information, screen name, email address, age, sex and family status, but may also include other information such as shopping habits and preferences and lifestyle details such as hobbies and interests.

When you supply personal data to us through this website, it will be clear what we plan to use the data for and we will seek your consent to such use. We will then use it only for such purposes. Typical purposes are as follows:

    (i) Answering your queries

Where you send us personal data in the context of asking us a question or query (for example, about the company, or its products or services or their quality or availability), we shall use the data you provide in order to respond to your question. In some cases, it may be necessary to share your details with other members of the Nomad Foods Group, or with other third party data processors.

(ii) Submitting reviews of our products

When you submit a review of one of our products on our website, we will ask you to provide certain contact information which may constitute personal data. We are required by the UK non-broadcast advertising code to verify reviews and to retain contact details for all individuals who post a review. The username of each reviewer is displayed next to their review on this website. Unless you choose for your username to contain your name or part of your name (or include personal data in your review), no personal data provided when submitting your review will be displayed on this website. All reviews are subject to a vetting process to try to ensure, amongst other things, that the content of the review does not contain personal data relating to the reviewer (with the exception of the chosen username, where relevant) or any other person.
We may from time to time agree with third parties that customer reviews (including usernames) of our products posted on our website will also be displayed on a third party's website (in relation to the third party's sale of the same product). By posting a review on this website, you acknowledge that it may be replicated on third party sites.

You grant Nomad Foods Europe Limited and its subsidiaries and corporate affiliates and affiliated, co-branded and/or linked website partners through whom we provide goods and/or services (“NFE Companies”), a royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, irrevocable and fully sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, publish, delete, create derivative works from, publicly display, sell and transfer your review throughout the world in any media (including, but not limited to, NFE Companies’ websites, the websites of our affiliates, marketing materials, social media content and product packaging) without compensation. You further grant the NFE Companies the right to pursue at law any person or entity that violates your or the NFE Companies’ rights in your review. You acknowledge and agree that your review is non-confidential and non-proprietary. You expressly waive any and all ‘moral rights’ (including rights of attribution or integrity) that may subsist in your review and agree that you have no objection to the publication, use, modification, deletion or exploitation of your review by the NFE Companies.

    (iii) Entering a promotion

We may use personal data submitted in an entry form for a promotion for the purpose of administering the promotion in accordance with its stated rules. Such rules may require the publication of abbreviated winners' identity details, and may require winners to participate in future publicity. The promotion may be administered by third party agencies on our behalf, who may have access to the data you submit (see data processors).

    (iv) Future direct marketing

Where you elect to receive such material, we will from time to time send you information and/or offers about our goods and/or services which we believe may be of interest to you. If you agree, we may also share your data with or pass it to other companies in the Nomad Foods Europe Limited and other carefully selected companies who may wish to send you information and/or offers about their goods/services, as stated at the time we collect your data. At any time, however, you may unsubscribe from ("opt out" of) such future contact.

    (b) Processing outside the EEA

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

    (c) Children's data

Unless specified in relation to a particular promotion, we do not and will not knowingly collect information from any unsupervised child under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, you may not use this website or provide your personal data unless you have the consent of, and are supervised by, a parent or guardian.

In addition, if you order a product or service from us, we may share personal data with suppliers and other third parties to allow payment and delivery of such product or service. These suppliers and other third parties are contractually obliged not to use your personal data in any way other than that which we have specified.

We take reasonable precautions to keep your personal data secure, and require third party data processors to do likewise. All personally identifiable information is subject to restricted access to prevent unauthorised access, modification or misuse.
